Essential preference
We store your analytics choice, notice version and choice timestamp in this browser’s local storage. It is read only while valid for 180 days. An expired choice disables analytics and asks again; it is overwritten when you choose again. It contains no name, email or marketing profile. Your browser may keep expired bytes until you clear storage or save a new choice.
Hosting security cookies
Our hosting provider may set essential security cookies, including Cloudflare’s __cf_bm, to distinguish legitimate traffic from automated abuse. In the response checked for this notice, that cookie had a 30-minute expiry and was marked Secure and HttpOnly. Hosting may also use other essential security controls where needed. These are separate from optional analytics and are not enabled by accepting analytics.
Optional Google Analytics
No Google Analytics script or measurement request is initiated by our configuration before acceptance. After acceptance, Google may set _ga and property-specific _ga_* cookies. Provider defaults can last up to two years; these are separate from our 180-day choice lifetime. We disable advertising personalization and Google signals. Refusal stops our events, removes accessible first-party analytics cookies and reloads an already active analytics page. Information already received by Google is not recalled.
Chat
Thunderbolt is loaded only after you choose “Agree & open chat.” Its embed may use its own cookies or local storage, with provider-controlled retention. The fallback assistant keeps its visible conversation in page memory only; reload or clear it to remove that local copy. This does not erase provider-held records. No advertising pixel is configured.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use “Privacy choices” in the footer. You can reject optional analytics and still use all public pages and the email enquiry form. Clear site data in your browser to remove the saved choice. Chat can be declined separately. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is not treated as analytics acceptance.
